Stingy Companys Greed Crushes 3-1/2 Stars and Mothers Heart
Incredible. They bring out a new version of there product and wont let me import my old equipment. This product was obviously NOT designed by musicians. Or maybe it *was* designed by musicians, but they were forced to make it for some evil immortal nazi demons that had abducted, and were vigilantly waterboarding, their 4-5 year old children, all because theyd given them a dirty look for bringing a full shopping cart into the express lane at the grocery store. I understand what girls mean now when they say they feel dirty. I feel like I sold a stolen gun to an angsty 4th grader for crack. And its not just because they want to charge a loyal customer 15 bucks for a free product. I would have bought the full package anyway, but not if I have to load it into the old software when Ive paid for the new software. Somebody please give these clowns a hug, treat them kindly...cause theyll melt into puddles of some fecal/tar/catpee sludge and leave us with there 4.5 star equipment. Minus 1/2 a star because it takes a lot of tweaking to keep the feedback in check. *Queue amplitube rep rising from my toilet bowl saying "the feedback isnt an issue if you read the instructions." Malarky! I read the 3 step directions on cable plug in order, like my iTouch had become an appolo 13 sim. I also read the hidden bonus step that says to adjust the internal volumes as well. The product simply has a very fine range of tollerance. It needs better shielding, why is that so hard to admit. I cant use my expensive IEMs with it without excessive low-to-mid level hum. But a pair of cheap studio ear-muffs work fine because the 3.5mm line is thicker than my 1/4" instrument cable. So, add some more rubber, add an optional grounding lead if you have to, and quit charging your mother for in-app add-ons.
